The Hyannis Airport

Join us in person at the Library to hear local author Sharon D. Anderson, PhD, discuss her new book, The Hyannis Airport: 1928-1948.
From the cover: “What began as a fifty-seven-acre farm with a five-room house and grew to a many acres thriving airport with very busy air traffic is a story that needs to be told.
A few visionaries formed the Hyannis Airport Corporation, at the time when aviation was quickly growing as a form of private and commercial transportation. With a board of directors and stockholders, including Amelia Earhart, a new industry took off, providing for the Cape Cod community and beyond.”
Sharon D. Anderson is an Author/Publisher, dedicated to writing Heavenly Cozy Mysteries and non-fiction books. She founded the Cape Cod Writers’ Studio in 2015 which currently meets on-line through Zoom where she continues to help the members polish their writing skills and support them on their paths to publication with many pots of tea and lots of biscuits. (virtual of course).
She is a member of Visionary Fiction Alliance, Cape Cod Media Center and ALLI.
