Davis Bates Concert – Critters, Animals & Other Friends

Hyannis Public Library presents award winning singer and story teller Davis Bates performing “Critters, Animals & Other Friends.” The program will involve the audience in a variety of cultural traditions – and none of them digital! Hear how stars came to be in the sky, how foam came to be in the ocean, and be prepared to sing, move and clap your hands. The program will include plenty of sing-alongs, as well as a short lesson in how to play the spoons, and an appearance by a dancing wooden dog named Bingo.
Be sure not to miss this wonderful program of family-oriented traditional interactive entertainment. The concert will be held at the bandshell on the Hyannis Village Green so be sure to bring your blanket for seating! The performance is funded, in part, by a grant from the Mid-Cape Cultural Council, a local agency supported by the MA Cultural Council. Please register using the form below for a guaranteed seat.
